I went through different medications that my doctor gave me, and then he gave me a prescription called "SERC" it works. It has been a few years since I have had a full blown episode, and I sure do not miss being bed ridden and feeling like someone flipping the world upside down constantly. I always have a supply on hand and when I get really stressed or over tired and I start to get that feeling of "oh No, it's going to start" I take the serc for one day as a precaution and I am fine.
